GR8 Community Foundation was designed differently from traditional fundraising programs. Our goal is to create a fundraising model families actually want to participate in, while directing as much of the program proceeds as possible toward the schools and community organizations being supported.

Select a beneficiary during checkout. Each beneficiary is clearly labeled as Official Partner or Pending. “Pending” means the organization is listed as an intended beneficiary while approvals and coordination are in progress.

How funds are handled
We track and reserve net proceeds per beneficiary. Distribution happens once the beneficiary is confirmed and able to accept funds.
- Pending: proceeds are earmarked and held while approvals/coordination are in progress.
- Official Partner: proceeds are distributed on the agreed schedule (check or approved electronic method).
- If not confirmed: supporters may be offered a beneficiary change so funds remain community-directed.
Transparency promise
We publish totals raised and track distributions. Organization statuses are shown clearly so supporters always understand what’s official and what’s in progress.
Organization status & transparency
We’re a registered 501(c)(3). Some schools and organizations may appear as Pending while we finalize approvals and coordination. We’ll always label status clearly — we never imply endorsement without permission.
- Clear labeling: “Official Partner” means confirmed and able to receive funds. “Pending” means in progress.
- Funds are tracked: Contributions are recorded and reserved for the beneficiary you select.
- Easy fallback: If a beneficiary can’t participate, supporters can choose another beneficiary so funds stay community-directed.
- Flexible payout: Distributions can be made by check or approved electronic method (ACH, etc.).

Confirm the beneficiary (or mark as Pending)
We work toward formal approval for each beneficiary. Until confirmed, the beneficiary may be shown as Pending (listed as an intended beneficiary, not an official partner).

Families purchase access and local businesses provide VIP courtesies for members. We track proceeds per beneficiary so participation turns into measurable support.
Distribute funds with reporting
